TiH nominated for the VBHC Prize 2018

TiH has been nominated for the prestigious Value-Based Health Care Prize that recognizes inspiring VBHC initiatives. The philosophy of the reward is to recognize inspiring initiatives that have adopted a fundamentally new line of thinking in creating excellent patient value in terms of real outcomes, real connections, and one common language.

At TiH, we are contributing towards a greater and more rapid implementation of VBHC in daily clinical practice. A major challenge to public reporting and shared learning from patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) is the fact that a plethora of different measures is used by different healthcare providers. We have addressed this challenge by linking different PROMs using sophisticated modern psychometric approaches. This allows healthcare providers to use different PROMs to capture the same domain.

On April 26th, we will pitch our initiative and the winner of the #VBHCprize2018 will be announced by prof. Michael E. Porter. We are honoured to have been selected as a nominee and look forward to the 2-day VBHC event in April.
